3 random factoids

today i've decided to share 3 random factoids about myself....

1. 

i used to be a tomboy but am definitely a girly girl now. i almost NEVER brushed or styled my hair. it was always thrown into a ponytail at the nape of my neck (i still never brush my hair, but now i style it at least (: )

2. 

i have contacts but wear glasses most of the time because i believe they hide my face. i realize this is not the case because my glasses are tiny but subconsciously it makes me feel better. 

3. 

i love hot dogs in the summer. there isn't a day that you could ask me if i wanted a hot dog off the grill and i would decline. if i did, you'd know something was wrong with me. they do have to be a little burnt in a nicely buttered & toasted roll. there literally is nothing better...

i am a strange cat...this i know. but these are just a few of the things that make me, well, me!

good luck moving today. it's a pain in the butt, huh? but i am glad you got movers. moving your stuff from the 3rd floor walk up would NOT have been my idea of a good time. :)

i have seen glimpses of you this week, it feels good to be coming back. you should hurry up too. you don't have to be the old you, because let's face it, we all change and every one grows. just be a better version of yourself that is happy and make others feel it too. because in actuality the happiness of others makes you more happy. spread the love and bask in its rays. <3

• dancing in your car in dead stop traffic and pointing at the passenger's car next to me during call me maybe
• having said passengers wave at your like a lunatic
• having a gay man say he wants to be you and switch bodies, guess i am every gay man's dream? 
• every strapless bra i own makes my ladies look bigger #onlygirlintheworldwhowantssmallertatas
• all strapless undergarments i own fall down, this is a reoccurring problem....how do you get them to stay up?!?!?!?
• trying to take pictures of myself for this blog #gottagetcomfortablewithmyself 

awesome

• having passenger's from above turn their radio up so they can sing along! 
• same gay man telling me i am a cross between a college senior and a soccer mom, i'll take it! 
• last day of the middle school dance club (sad), but one of the mother's gave me flowers! how sweet! and they all gave me hugs
• all the clothes i ordered came in this week, i love new outfit options
• my friend's seeking fashion advice from me for milestones (graduations, weddings, baby showers, dates)
• falling in love with hashtags #finally
• mint green nails and red pants
• finally getting the swing of this here blog; woop woop! 
• the sunshine and dresses, always easier to dress when it's only one piece of clothing #lazybum

weekending

this past weekend was pretty great

it was sunny and hot and i lived :) 

it all started thursday night when i went to see Michael Jackson's The Immortal World Tour Cirque de Soliel

what an amazing show! you must check it out if it comes to an arena near you

friday night i saw "what to expect when you're expecting" and it was hilarious! 

everyone was really great in it, but the dads stole the show for sure...

saturday and sunday were spent in the sunshine with some fabulous kids that really brighten my weekends, teaching them is such a pleasure. (so much so that i ALWAYS forget to take pictures)

finished the weekend off with a sunday night bbq with my parents.

i am tan, nails are painted, full belly, smiles and giggles....one happy little weekend if i do say so myself! :)
